Biel Performance Boats, LLC was founded in 2000.  In 2002, the Biel's purchased a manufacturing facility on Maryland's Eastern shore.  In 2004, they purchased a boat repair business in DeLand, FL, which they managed and owned for several years.  This full service (fiberglass, gel, upholstery, canvas, etc) boat repair facility, performed warranty repair work for many well known boat manufacturers, as well as insurance work, and complete boat restorations for individuals.

Mike Biel was born and raised on an island in the Puget Sound near Seattle, WA and has been boating his whole life.  He started his first business at age 20 has been a successful committed entrepreneur since then.  In his late 20's he met and trained with Ted Jones, the father of the modern unlimited hydroplane.  Mike holds an ornamental design patent for a unique tunnel hull design.

Stacy Biel was born and raised in Virginia Beach, VA.  After graduating from Virginia Tech with a degree in Materials Engineering, she moved to the west coast, where she spent over 20 years in the advanced composites (fiberglass, carbon fiber, honeycomb) industry.
